Now the Feds want to waste 20 seconds of our time with these bullshit warnings! Unskippable, not able to fast forward and just have to sit there like a good little boy and look at that awesome angry bird mocking you.

Know whats cool about pirating videos? They don’t come with a warning. They don’t waste my time with trailers I can’t skip, warnings I can’t skip and commercials I can’t skip. Know what sucks about DVDs they waste my time with trailers I can’t skip, warnings I can’t skip and commercials I can’t skip. This is why I’m DVD collection hasn’t been updated in years. Thank you AppleTV, OnDemand, and Netflix. All this bullshit isn’t on streaming media either. Though I have a feeling if the Feds and movie studios get their choice it will some day be there as well.

Can we please stop with this silliness. This isn’t going to stop people from pirating movies. Just as gun laws only make it harder for law abiding citizens to get a gun and doesn’t stop the criminals from getting them, this is the same fuckin’ thing. All this does is piss off and annoy the people who actually paid for the damn DVD.

Not to mention this is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves. Trying to sell me something when I already bought something. This is why I RARELY go to the movies or buy DVDs anymore. You got me in the seat. Stop playing commercials at the movies! I already spend $50 on tickets and snacks. Stop trying to sell me more shit because I happened to get to the theater 20 mins early and have to watch more Pepsi commercial and your thinly valid “first look” bullshit. It’s nothing more than trying to sell me MORE!!! Same goes for trailers on DVDs I purchased. I don’t give a fuck. I want to watch my movie. When I drop in Indiana Jones from 1981 do I really need to sit through a trailer of “Coming SOON to a theater near you…….. Bill Murray and Harold Ramis in Stripes!” Trailers are great and I love em, don’t get me wrong. Fuck I’ve even posted a shit ton here over the years. But you can’t tell me that after seeing the one or two you’re excited for when you are at the theater that the 10 mins of commercials and 20 mins of trailers it does’t piss you off.

So fuck you FEDS and fuck you MPAA I’ll chose to pirate my DVDs or stream the movies and I’ll take my 700 DVD collection and burn it like a US pastor burns the Quran.

But anyway, this story over on TechCrunch posted yesterday basically explains that you may soon have the option to “highlight” your Facebook posts for a small $2.00 fee.

My first thought was “who the fuck would pay to highlight a post?!?!” Of course I quickly realized that most of you are morons and think every damn picture, stupid quote, unoriginal thought, etc, you re-post shows me that you think you are funnier, more sensitive, and thought provoking than you really are. Of course Facebook is nothing more than a “Hey LOOK AT ME!” place so fuck it, why not make a few bucks from people posting “hey I need a golden chicken for my farm”, “can you please check out my Amway products” which I guess if it’s important to you I can see the draw to such a service. What we all know is going to happen though is some skank “highlighting” her wanna-be sexy photos, people “highlighting” their messages to dead people and THE WORST PART is going to be when they “highlight” some stupid fuckin picture that’s been posted by hundreds of thousands of times already.

Now I make no secret that I like to “poke the bear with a stick”. I intentionally play devils advocate, a douce, prove you wrong or even better just say shit to intentionally get a rise out of people. Most of the time people don’t even get the humor. And ya know what? I don’t give a fuck. That’s what I do. Have all my life. Now I just have a forum where millions of people have access to it 24/7. So what’s the point you ask?? Well I think I can afford an extra $10 or $20 bucks a week and highlight some of the most moronic posts I can think of. Yeah, go ahead, “sort by most recent” and my little $2.00 post is going to fuck that right up for you. Though as quickly as my “flood the feed Friday” got shut down by a good friend saying “That’s probably the quickest way to get unfriended or unsubscribed from” (yeah I forgot about that part) this will probably go down in flames as well. But hey it’s fun to think for $2.00 I could piss off some people who haven’t blocked me yet.

In a place that’s overrun with all the likes your moronic friends like, advertisements, useless information, pre-posts, shares and only a handful of revenant posts a day why the hell not right?

So for all you people waiting for a kidney or have that important birthday wish to a dead relative check it out. It’s rolled out already for some users. We know nothing says “hey look at how important I am” then a highlighted message.

Someone that signs up for the Military and goes overseas and risks their life for our freedom and defend our borders has to sit outside a store and beg for money but some slut, yes I said it SLUT, gets knocked up at 17 and keeps having kids to stay on the Government payroll doesn’t have to worry about shit. I see men holding signs saying “Will work for food.” But never see a woman holding a sign saying “Will fuck for Welfare.” Our Veterans should never have to worry about a fucking thing for the rest of their lives!!! If they want to be drunk, like some of you MORONS will believe, then so be it!! They earned that right. Free rent, free food, and free medical should be given to those who helped keep us FREE. No those that sit on a couch and spit kids so they can keep getting things FREE. Just remember this we are “ THE LAND OF THE FREE, AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE!!” Not “THE LAND WHERE YOU LIVE FREE, IF YOU KEEP GETTING LAID!!”

So one of my favorite eco-terriost groups were at it again the other day. This time attacking Apple. Which is nothing more than a moronic publicity stunt. We all know that Apple is MASSIVE, in the news all the time because of the money they make and the new product launches and this is a cheap way for Greenpeace to get some press. But come on now there are a LOT far worse companies out there than Apple. Listen I’m an Apple fan boy no doubt but at least they are trying, which we know is better then a lot of corporations out there. Such a cheap stunt. Though that’s not really what was stupid about this stunt. I understand, you want press, you go after a big boy and get the word out there. But lets break down this “protest” a little shall we?

They released dozens of mylar balloons in to a NY Apple store. AWESOME! Way to prove a point caring for the environment by releasing dozens of mylar balloons which are non-biodegradable and will just sit in landfills, and most likely one day end up in the ocean somewhere killing dozen of fish! Point proven: “we only care about the environment when it’s someone else fucking it up and not us” So in short Greenpeace kills fish!!! Fuckin’ Morons! Oh yeah there are only 3 recycling facilitates in the country that can recycle mylar, all of which are in Cali. So even if you morons are going to recycle the balloons how much wasted energy and resources is it going to take to get those balloons shipped over to Cali for recycling? OK I’m no rocket scientist but isn’t helium an inert gas? And isn’t that a bad thing to waste?

Ok maybe I’m being a little too hard on Greenpeace…… Ok just in case I am I would like you to know that Greenpeace hosts their CleanOurCloud.com domain over at GoDaddy. Now correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t GoDaddy owned by the famous elephant killer?

It’s pretty awesome to protest Apples NC data center using “dirty power” at an Apple Store in NY but the facts are: “Our data centre in North Carolina will draw about 20 megawatts at full capacity, and we are on track to supply more than 60 percent of that power on-site from renewable sources including a solar farm and fuel cell installation, which will each be the largest of their kind in the country,” Yeah those evil bastards!

We all understand that the world is getting pretty fucked up. The environment is getting destroyed and everyone needs to stop being wasteful dick. We can argue all day that global climate change is man made or natural and if there is anything we can/can’t do to slow it down, but we all do have to stop being douchebags and wasting resources frivolously. We all get the fact that there needs to be education, awareness and solutions to a greater problem. But the point is that if you are going to stand for something, make a stink about something please do it responsible. A entity like Greenpeace, as well as our douchebag friends over at PETA, are going to be held accountable for their actions more then most because of their public image. Stop being eco-jackasses because you are doing more harm to your cause then you are helping.

It finally happened. Mandatory sensitivity training for our troops in Afghanistan! Now we have to respect the fucking FEELINGS of the animals that are blowing themselves up trying to kill our soldiers. Really? Is this a bad joke? Nope. Sounds to me like they may need some therapy not our soldiers. But sadly it’s true. You see a bunch of detainees at a prison in Afghanistan were using the facilities library to check out books, write messages in them and return them so other detainees could check them out and read the messages. The messages included plans for attacks on guards and protests. The officials at the prison saw this as a security threat and decided to burn all the books to solve the problem. Unfortunately for those involved in the burning 1, that’s right 1 of the 1,600 books was a Koran. Well now the entire country is going fucking ape shit! It was an accident people! Get over it! But no, our government and even The President have apologized and pledge to “Get to the bottom” of this and see that justice is served! What the fuck are they talking about? The savages were planning to attack our soldiers and we stopped them. What if they did attack and several of them were killed would it be O.K.? But there was no attack and the only casualty was a fucking book! It seems to me our government would rather sacrifice our soldiers instead of literature? Now all involved are going to be disciplined and their military careers ruined because they didn’t let a bunch of terrorists try to kill them. Now they have to respect the feelings of a bunch of terrorists that fucking hate us and always will. I thought this was war?

So bouncing around Facebook last night killing some time I noticed someone posted a link to this video. Of course after one person posted it the virus of sharing took over. The comments were crazy. Of course with the title is “OBAMA BANNED THIS VIDEO – GEE, I WONDER WHY!.flv” Now with a title like that my first thought was like “holy shit a banned video?! I need to check this out”. My second thought as I clicked the link was “wait….. banned? Then how the fuck is it posted” “Who the fuck banned it” and Why the hell can I watch it if it’s banned”?

Listen I know the internet is a GREAT source for alliterative news sources. I know that CNN, FOX, ABC, NBC and the rest of the alphabet soup news all have an agenda. I get it. But come on now, “Banned” video, yet available on YouTube? As many of you all know my stepdad is in Aerosmith. With that we sometimes have to police YouTube for copyrighted stuff and get it taken down from YouTube (well not us, but the record companies). And it gets taken down. Fox takes down the Simpsons, NBC gets videos of Saturday Night Live taken down and various record companies take down your ugly kids lip syncing some shitty pop artists song. Yet somehow this “banned” video somehow got passed the government?

What blows my mind is the insane logic people use daily and see nothing wrong with their moronic rationalization of things. First lets take President Bush for example. As many liberals have said during his administration “The guy was a moron” right? Yet he somehow plotted 9/11 and a fake war. How can someone who you all think is an idiot pull this off? Ok I get it, he was just a puppet for Dicky C right? Ok if that helps you add up your 1+1=2 all the power to you.

Now we have this “banned video”. Now you want me to believe that this guy faked everything about himself, hid it from the government and/or it’s a total government conspiracy yet they let this little video slip out on YouTube? You really think that they can pull off all that but somehow can’t get a video taken down off YouTube when FOX, NBC, ABC, SONY, etc etc get videos taken down every day? Come on now.

Lets use some common sense please, and stop believing these conspiracies. I know it’s fun, exciting and you all like feeling that you are in the know. But doing research on YouTube, listening to whack-jobs ramble on about “this is the stuff “THEY” don’t want you to know” and all that bullshit is just stupid (not to mention it’s not research, it’s watching videos). You can’t have it both ways. You can’t have a New World Order controlling EVERYTHING and covering up EVERYTHING yet letting videos being plastered all over the place. Anytime you see a title like “banned” or “what THEY don’t want you to know” or some other catchy title ask yourself this:

Who are “they”?
Who is posting this?
How does this poster/blogger know “what’s REALLY going on”?
If this theory is so secret how is this info even out there?

And I’m sure I could go on and on with questions to ask yourself. Just use common sense and don’t make thinly connected theories without “proof”. It’s easy to drum up conspiracies. Watch………..

The DOJ is filing a lawsuit against Apple for Anti-trust issues in regards to e-book pricing. Once again it’s fuckin’ amazing at how the Government has it’s priorities straight. No need to worry about Wall Street, Gas Prices, Food Prices, The Housing Crash, War, Voter Fraud, Constitutional rights and liberties being taken away and everything else that is going on….. But what’s REALLY important? The fact that an e-book sometimes cost more then a new or old hard cover. What the fuck!?!?!?! Seriously?

I love my Kindle! I wouldn’t give it up for the world. I’ve had two over the years and the new small one kicks ass. Not the tough, or fire or keyboard but the basic bottom of the line Kindle e-reader. Does it piss me off when I see a book for $12.99 for the Kindle version and I could get the hard cover or paperback for $8.99. Not one bit. I look at it as I’m paying the extra few bucks to not have to lug around books with me when I travel. Nothing is worse then being out on the road, finishing a book, being in the middle of nowhere, bored as fuck without another book to read. Yeah to me that’s worth the extra few bucks I have to pay. Plus with all the free books or specials for $1.99 or $0.99 I get it averages itself out over time.

I get it. Price fixing sucks. It shouldn’t happen but we are talking about ebooks on a luxury device. This isn’t life threatening. This isn’t medications for poor kids. And it’s NOT the only place you can get the content. Many options. Get the real book, go to a library, wait for it to go on sale, borrow it from a friend or whatever. If you don’t want them to price fix stop buying digital versions, they will get the hint. Vote with your money and not with my tax dollars wasted with this bullshit lawsuit when there are a shit ton more important things for the DOJ to do than waste time with this shit.

Well Joe swung by unannounced to check out some of the show and see a few friends. Needless to say that being the rock god he is they asked him to jump on stage and give the master of ceremonies a little jab. Being Chris Jericho you think it wouldn’t be that hard right. Where the fuck have I been?? Well first of all last Wed I was on Sons of Guns. If you haven’t checked out that bad ass show make sure you check it out. It’s on the Discovery Channel. Of course my screen time totaled all of two mins (for 4 hours of filming) but it was a fuckin’ blast!! As stated on the Jesse Ventura Facebook page (which is where I checked the video out for the first time) old Jesse says: “I cannot believe I have to explain this but the video of Sam Jackson is not about stripping the second amendment it’s about taking responsibility for your actions and stopping violence. Sometimes words are not meant to be taken literally. Pay attention in English class kids.”. Well smartass I did pay attention in English class, but also paid attention in reading class as well and what I read at the end of that video said “PUT DOWN THE GUNS”. NOT “STOP THE VIOLENCE” or as I said “break the cycle” (which I think would have been a bad ass tagline to end that video and cause a shit ton less controversy but than again it wouldn’t have so many hits now would it?). So blow me you juiced up hack.
