Wait…. Archie is still a comic book?
Did I just wake up in the late 1940s early 1950s? Who the fuck even knew Archie was still a comic book? For those who didn’t, It still is and I got some good news for you loyal Archie readers: The gang is still around and to show a sign of the times they are busting out their first gay character.
Archie Comics, home of the famous Riverdale High students Archie, Betty, Veronica, Reggie and Jughead, is about to welcome a new classmate this fall! On September 1st, Kevin Keller, Archie Comics’ first openly gay character, will be welcomed into the town of Riverdale.
“The introduction of Kevin is just about keeping the world of Archie Comics current and inclusive. Archie’s hometown of Riverdale has always been a safe world for everyone. It just makes sense to have an openly gay character in Archie comic books,” stated Archie Comics Co- CEO, Jon Goldwater.
Keeping the world of Archie Comics current? WTF? I mean seriously I can’t be the only one around that pictures the 1950s when I think of Archie can I? Soda pop down at the car hop with the “jocks” and Jughead and now we have the token gay dude? It just doesn’t seem right to me. And no that wasn’t a homophobic statement moron, I just don’t picture an openly gay guy hanging out at the car hop in the 50s. Well, I guess it’s only a matter of time before Archie is blowing lines off Veronica’s ass and Betty is turning tricks down on Riverdale Ave. Wait a second, I just thought of something….. Did a gay guy get a spot in Archie’s world before a black guy? Someone check that out and get back to me.

Ok let me get this straight (no pun intended)….. Since he was compassionate, super-intelligent, understood human problems and forgave people he has to be gay? Isn’t this kind of a racist statement? I’m still trying to wrap my head around this statement and why it hasn’t caused more people to be upset. I guess once again it not considered racist (or would this be considered sexist?) when the other side says something. Yet if I say “well since he is gay he is too compassionate and forgiving so he can’t have that killer instinct so no way can he be in the US Military or play sports”.

So I just went to Abercrombie & Fitch to pick up a pair of cargo shorts and look at this fuckin’ bag they gave me? I’m not even going to get in to the problem of walking around a mall with this huge homo bag, that’s a post for when I’m in a gay bashing mood. Right I am more confused about who the fuck thinks this is good marketing?
Ok now I know sex sells but really, homo-erotic sex?? Now I’ve asked a few chicks to look at this picture and their first reaction was a little laugh. Then I said “Now I know sex sells, but do you see this as sexy because when I look at it it screams GAY!” Well after some thought they all said “Yeah its sexy” but their initial reaction was a laugh. So I don’t know where that scientific poll leaves me?!? Wouldn’t it be smarter to have 2 bags? One with a chick, for men, and this one for chicks? Now that would be better marketing wouldn’t it? Post up and help me because I’m torn. Is this gay or is this sexy?

Ok I’m all for equal right and all that shit but I gotta draw the line somewhere. This is such a “stunt” and it makes me sick. Though I’m sure that homo media whore Perez Hilton is wetting her panties right about now.

It’s not a compliment to be called a queen you retard, just keep those stereotypes alive and well you tool. I’m sure the gay community is proud of you.
So this leaves me with 3 questions?
1. Why the fuck couldn’t he run for King?
2. Did the King and “Queen” have to dance together like they do at most proms?
3. If you’re gay and want to be treated equal stop making a fuckin’ joke about everything. Your a dude, yeah you are a flaming “queen” but still a dude none the less. And a tiara? Come on now how cliche “gay” can you be?
