These reviews are probably getting really boring by now, however this short story is freaking hilarious. THE GREAT DETECTIVE ‘s main character (JOE-JOHN) appears to be a obese man unable to move around without the aide of a hoist or some other crane like devices.His body can not function. He needs his loyal assistant and lots of help to get from one place to another.To be sure,his mind is fined tuned to criminal activity, therefore he is capable of solving the most bazaar crimes.JOE-JOHN is as bazaar as the crime he is capable of solving.
To quote the first paragraph : ” Joe-John! You fat! You stink of beer! You never get of de bed! You balls hang outa you shorts! How come I love you so much ? ”
